Manks has always been Hong Kong’s destination for Scandinavian Modern Design furniture, lighting, antiques and arts since 1996. Occupying the top floor of a 1960s industrial building, the 560m2 loft-style showroom is like a mini-museum of Scandinavian mid-century design, with the works of textbook names such as Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Poul Henningsen waiting for you to take ownership. Tablescape/tablesetting plays a big part in the hygge – or mysa way of living. Manks offers a dazzling range of Aalto vases from Finland, Royal Copenhagen hand-painted porcelain, Rörstrand tableware from Sweden and sculptural Toikka birds.
