Set against the backdrop of Hong Kong Fashion Fest, FASHION TO RECONNECT: A Tale of Two Style Capitals, organised by the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, City University of Hong Kong, with Cittadellarte Fondazione Pistoletto, in partnership with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, and supported by the Consulate General of Italy, is a cultural exchange project celebrating the power of fashion, art and sustainability in re-connecting these concepts and the two regions. The project includes art installations of the Third Paradise re-interpreted by local artists and an exhibition featuring 9 Hong Kong-based designers and 15 Italian designers curated by Tiziano Guardini that embodies the essence of Hong Kong and Italy’s rich cultural tapestry while serving as a platform to amplify their contributions to sustainable fashion on a global stage. A symposium, a roundtable, and seminars will bring together academics and professionals from different creative and cultural industries to discuss art, fashion, and sustainability.
